Tri-M is the international
honor society recognizing secondary music students for their musical ability, academic excellence, school involvement, and
community service
They meet with other schools to help strengthen the schools music programs and help members meet their musical potential through teamwork and bring attention to the public on our school’s music program.

For students that desire to push their talents to a higher level, there
is the Charter Oak Conference Music Festival. 8 students made this all star
conference ensemble that features students from 8 schools.
They performed on November 13th at Bacon Acadmey (Colchester High School).
Performing with the Jazz ensemble were: Brian Basiaga, John Romano, Tim Plakunov and David Theroux.

Nothern Regionals
Band members can also tryout for Northern Regionals. Band members from over 50 public and private
high schools tryout for both concert and jazz bands that represent the northern section of Connecticut.

On Saturday, November 15th 2008, Bristol Eastern High School hosted the annual Northern Regionals Competition.
This year, auditioning were: John Romano (Bass), Rebecca-Lee Molina (Trumpet), Julian Dresser (Cello), Adrian Dresser (Viola).
